Its looking like the use of face masks in Nigeria is going to go through the roof and soon, naturally, the cost may increase even further.
From the looks of things, the use of face masks will be with us at least till the end of the year.
The idea is not the face masks, but a new innovation called the ear guard. this allows you to wear the face mask without hinging the ropes on your ears. Rather it would go around your head.
This innovative invention was first seen by a young lad in Canada who did the design and actually 3D printed it and made the drawings available online. We may not have those capabilities online but the ear guard looks simple enough to produce. Infact, another lady made the cloth version with wool which also looked pretty nice.
So… apart from us wearing fancy masks to fit our apparel which Nigerians will surely do, this is another aspect that will also make some money.
Best of all, it encourages people to ear their face masks for a longer period of time without getting irritated and removing it (which some people are already experiencing now).
